Publishing

We publish a wide variety of non-denominational Scriptures and resources for churches and Christians to use. These include leaflets for children and adults that tell the Christmas and Easter story and share Bible answers to life’s questions, New Testaments for outreach, gospels for Easter camps, full Bibles for Defence Force personnel, Christian story books for schools and many more.

Sometimes we initiate a publishing project and see it through ourselves, but more often we work with another organisation that has a particular need or audience, and we partner with the organisation to publish what they require for their outreach or ministry.

We also publish Bibles for general reading, in English and a number of Pacific Island languages.

Being part of the world’s largest Bible translating and publishing organisation means that we don’t always have to do the publishing ourselves. By partnering with other Bible Societies, we’re able to stock and distribute a huge range of Bibles and other material in most English Bible versions and in most of the other major languages.

As we shift our emphasis towards encouraging Bible engagement, our publishing function becomes more important. We are constantly on the lookout for more relevant resources – print, graphic, audio or video - that will capture the imagination and meet the needs of a new generation of spiritual enquirers.
