Bible Society's vision is to encourage and help young people engage with God's Word regularly so we’ve created a number of resources to help young Christians connect with and get a better understanding of the Bible.
We have a great range of materials and free resources created specifically for church and youth groups. Many of them are free and can be ordered from us or they can be downloaded, watched or listened to on our website. We hope they inspire your youth.
The Big Picture
Experience the Bible story as you've never experienced it before! The Big Picture is a stunning short film that tells the overall Bible story, from creation, the fall of people into sin and then God’s forgiveness and redemption. The Big Picture is a great way to inspire young people to find their role in God's great story. Companion booklets are also available.

Dusty Bible
Dusty Bible is a booklet designed for younger Christians to help them overcome common barriers to Bible reading and develop a regular Bible reading habit.
It’s a free resource available to churches and youth groups in New Zealand.
Reading plans
Download or order free printed copies of Bible reading plans. From a chapter a day to a 365 day plan, or take part in our more comprehensive Bible reading challenges for groups who want to delve deeper.
Drink it, Think it, Live it, Give it.
This is a short 5 minute film using the theme ‘Drink it, Think it, Live it, Give it’ to encourage people to get into reading God’s Word. It includes discussion questions for groups/youth.
Online communities
It can be easier to understand your Bible when you have others to share ideas and thoughts with. Joining an online community is a great way to be encouraged in your faith and Bible reading. Read more
