Rob Harley


During May 2008 when the new Amity Press opened in China, Bible Society arranged for award winning TV documentary maker Rob Harley to be there to film his impressions of the event and Bible mission in China.

When we commissioned Rob we made it clear to him that we wanted his impressions of China to be paramount. Certainly we ‘opened doors’ and made sure he met as many people involved in Bible mission as possible but, in the end, this is Rob’s story of what he found and what he saw in China. We have made no edits – Rob has produced it from go-to-whoa.

We suggest then, that you take time to view this video at length and at leisure – perhaps more than once. And then, with us, give heartfelt thanks to God who is working miracles in China day-in, day-out, through his followers in that vast country that truly is ‘ripe unto harvest’.
And as you give thanks to God, be assured that Bible Society gives thanks to you, the people of God in New Zealand who so often, so willingly and generously, have continued to support Bible mission in China with your gifts and your prayers for at least the last 19 years. Thank you!
