Napier coffee and dessert evening

Over a hundred people attended Napier’s annual coffee and dessert evening in September. They came to support the work of Bible Society, have a great dessert and meet and hear Francis Burdett, the CEO of Bible Society New Zealand.

 

Francis started by showing a video on Bible distribution work in Russia and then gave a very interesting talk on Bible Society work both here in New Zealand and also in Russia and Eastern Europe.

All proceeds from the evening will go towards Bible work.

Thanks to All Saint’s Taradale Parish for the use of their beautiful church and hall and thanks also to the Action Group members for putting on such a lovely dessert.
