Last year students from Bethlehem College, a Christian college in Tauranga, travelled to Su’u Secondary School in the Solomon Islands on a mission trip.
They presented the school with 40 Bibles gifted by Bible Society New Zealand. Hannah Te Whaiti was one of the students on the trip.
“The students here treasure God’s Word, but previously the school did not have any Bibles of its own,” says Hannah. “The gift of the Bibles made a huge impact. The staff and students were absolutely delighted to receive them.”

"I've been a believer since 1996, but I could never read the Bible because of my poor eyesight. Having this large print New Testament means so much to me. I pray that I will be able to continue reading it every day for the rest of my life."
