A big rig for The Big Picture

Last year, Bible Society took a yacht to Parachute, the Christian music festival held each year at Mystery Creek, Hamilton. This year, we're taking a big rig truck, which will be transformed into a movie theatre.

We aim to help young people get a better understanding of the Bible story, so the truck will be used to play the world premier of The Big Picture, a film which tells the story of creation, the fall and God’s redemptive plan for mankind.

Through it, Bible Society hopes to reach some of the 25,000 young people who attend the festival, many of whom struggle to understand the Bible.

Bible Society will also provide additional resources including a companion booklet and a Bible reading plan.
