New life in Christ for drug addicts

The Reto Centre is a drug rehabilitation centre found near Belgrade in Serbia. The centre is currently home to around 150 young drug addicts from all over Serbia and neighbouring countries.

Founded on Christian principles in 2003, the Bible is central to the ministry at the centre, as the young people are guided towards healing and a new life.

Ljubica is a young woman from southern Serbia. “I spent 12 years lost in the world of drugs, but now I am free. Once, heroin was the most important thing in my life. I lost my identity. Today, I am a completely new person. Jesus Christ has freed me from slavery and given me new life,” she says.
