The Bible Society of Israel is reaching out to people in the parks of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
To meet the needs of the growing numbers of Eritrean refugees, who live in the parks of south Tel Aviv, Bible Society printed and distributed 4,000 copies of the New Testament in Eritrean.
By engaging in conversation and having specially-prepared Scripture booklets, such as the Messianic Psalms and The Divinity of the Messiah in Hebrew, Bible Society is also reaching out to its fellow citizens.
One religious young man at first declined a copy of The Divinity of the Messiah, but after a conversation with a Bible Society staff member, he decided to take one.
He thought it would probably be wrong but he still wanted to read it!
