A different future for Angola’s youth

“Through hearing the Word of God I’ve come to realise the difference between living with God and living without Him,” says Manuel, a young prisoner in Angola. He received a Bible during a Bible Society visit earlier this year.

Manuel is just one of many young people in this war-devastated country, where around 40% of the population is under 14-years-old, whom Bible Society is reaching out to.

It wants young people to have a better future based upon biblical foundations to help them avoid not only well-known pitfalls such as drugs and alcohol, but the many other challenges which come from living in a society which is still recovering from nearly 40 years of war.
