In Chile, Bible Society is visiting children’s homes for at risk children, as part of its ongoing ministry to orphaned and needy children. Many of these children come from broken homes where the parents are involved in either drug or alcohol abuse or are in prison.
At one such home called The Ark, each child received a pack containing a New Testament, a Christian colouring book and a magazine, as well as some sweets and clothes, during a Bible Society visit recently. The children were overjoyed to receive the items and began reading their new Scriptures immediately, with a bit of assistance from the visitors and their teachers.
