Scripture portions for China’s workers

In China, a Scripture portion entitled The Lord Protects You, is bringing comfort to workers. Many people are forced to leave the rural areas, often moving long distances away from home, in order to find work in the cities.

The Scripture portion, The Lord Protects You, which is bringing comfort to Chinese migrant workers.

Separated from family and friends, they often face a life of loneliness and despair.

“Who can understand this tough life I have,” says Xiao Li. “I left my home town to work in the city. After a hard day’s work I'm so tired, but I read The Lord Protects You and I feel better.”

Liang Dan was injured in an industrial accident. “I felt very angry when I was injured, but after reading The Lord Protects You I began to realise that God allows us to go through trials, so that we will focus on Him,” he says.

Xiao Ye is a young person who received the Scripture portion from a workmate. “I may be young but I’ve already seen a lot of suffering. I’ve come to the conclusion that human comfort is of little help. After reading the booklet I understand that there is someone protecting us and His name is Jesus,” he says.
